Sunner Solar will open its first thin-film PV modules manufacturing facility in February 25th, 2009. The new plant is located in Houli Area, Central Taiwan Science Park and expected to have an yearly production capacity of 25MW. This ceremony will also introduce Sunner Solar’s achievement on serial production of SA-100 amorphous silicon thin-film modules.

CTSP Administration convened the Innovative Research and Industry Academia Collaboration Award and Assistance Eligibility Assessment Conference before the end of 2008. During the conference, innovative technology research project proposed by Sunner Solar Corporation was approved. Sunner Solar’s proposal for assistance is “Research and Development of Heterostructure Current Guided”. The project promises simple and low temperature manufacturing process through control of key equipment and material. The panel of committee members has agreed to subsidize an amount of NT$ 3 million for the proposal.
