SA-130 is a newly developed tandem structure photovoltaic cells which are combined with amorphous silicon and microcrystalline layers. With the same dimension as SA-100, SA-130 will raise its maximum power output to 130 watts. The conversion efficiency is increased to 8.5%. It resolves not only the drawback of low efficiency in thin-film modules, but also improves the initial degradation problems. Therefore, tandem products will surely help thin-film products to gain more market shares in different segments. (available in 2010)
